This video produced by the IRG in the framework of a study / evaluation of 12 citizen control of public action exercises performed in 2009-2010 in four regions of Colombia. The work was coordinated by the organization Transparencia por Colombia and supported by the Inter-American Foundation. The video presents testimonies of twenty citizen control practitioners: community leaders, heads of civil society organizations, local authorities. The video is organized into four sub-themes: definitions of citizen control of public action, lessons learned from the exercises, the impact of these exercises on policy, and the challenges of citizen control of public action.
